Resumen

The production of entomopathogenic fungi is a study area of great importance because represent an alternative to the use of chemical insecticides. During the mechanism of infection, the entomopathogenic fungi release lipases, proteases and chitinases responsible for the penetration of the cuticle of insects. It has been shown that in liquid fermentation these enzymes are inducible, but the products obtained by this bioprocess do not have high effectiveness for its use at the agricultural level; on the other hand, those obtained by solid fermentation present an advantage with respect to their viability, due to the formation of aerial conidia. The aim of this work was to analyze the enzymes production by Beauveria bassiana in solid fermentation using mixtures of rice and T. molitor cuticles (100: 0, 95: 5, 90:10, 85: 15%). In the semi-qualitative tests carried out, it was observed that the use of inducers in solid fermentation has no effect with respect to the total repression of the enzymes produced. The best treatment to produce conidia with greater virulence in the bioassays was obtained with a substrate: inductor ratio of 90:10.
